How to update your email in Merit America Platforms

🛠️General Guidance If your email has been hacked or you need to change it, here’s how to update it across Canvas, Slack, and Coursera.

💡If you're unable to update it yourself or no longer have access to the old email, please email us at techops@meritamerica.org with your new email address, and we’ll be happy to update it across the platforms for you.

📚 Step 1: Update Your Email in Canvas

1. Click your Account icon.

2. Select Settings.

3. Click + Email Address.

4. Enter your new email and click Register Email.

5. Click Ok,

6. Go to your new inbox and confirm the email by clicking the link.

💬 Step 2: Update Your Email in Slack

Slack email updates must be done in a web browser (not the app).

🎓 Step 3: Update Your Email in Coursera

To Change your email with Coursera:

1. Go to: Coursera Support

2. Scroll to the bottom and use the contact form.

3. Submit your request using the form.

4. 📩 Important: Coursera will send an automatic response.

   ➡️ You must reply to that email to connect with a real support representative.
